Week two for the new year, the Thirds have a bye and the Vets kick off 2015 on Sunday so there are four teams taking to the park this weekend.
The fixtures:
- First XI vs St. James Malvern Valley @ Basil No. 1 – Basil St, Malvern East
- Second XI vs Mount Waverley Uniting @ The Barnyard
- Fourth XI vs Glen Iris @ Dorothy Laver East
- Veterans XI vs Surrey Hills @ Wattle Park
The Veterans game on Sunday marks Geoff ‘Nudge’ Allen’s 250th game for the club. Geoff is a champion of the club and even in semi-retirement from playing remains one of the club’s biggest supporters of all grades. Be sure to get down to Wattle Park to take in the game, as you can see below some of the greats are planning to dust of the whites to take part.
