Whether you want to start playing or return to playing cricket, or just love the idea of more exercise in a great social setting, then come to the Balwyn Saints Cricket Club where whatever your ability, you are welcome.
The Balwyn Saints Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club based in Balwyn & North Balwyn in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne and we consider it to be the home of cricket for everyone in Balwyn. The Balwyn Saints is a club with a proud and successful history. We are always looking to grow and bring in new players.
Why should you join the Saints?
- Play various formats of cricket – we offer both turf and synthetic cricket, both two-day and one-day cricket, offering a great opportunity to have a bat and a bowl every week.
- Play on the best synthetic ground in the East – we are based and play at the tree-lined Balwyn Park oval, with fantastic club rooms with a balcony overlooking the ground.
- Member diversity – Players of all ages, backgrounds and experience are welcome at the Saints. Whether you’re a gun cricketer or just a backyard legend we have the team for you.
- We have a great social environment – when the game is over head upstairs for a drink and a free barbeque.
This season we will be fielding the following teams in the ECA Senior competition:
- Saturday and Sunday senior turf teams;
- Saturday synthetic limited over competition teams;
- Sunday vets teams.
In addition, the Balwyn Blasters will be fielding the following teams in the ECA Junior competition:
- Under 10s;
- Under 12s;
- Under 14s;
- Under 16s;
- Under 18s;
- Girls cricket for all ages;
- Woolworths Blasters program.
