Melbourne Cup weekend means the LOC sides don’t play, so only the 1sts and 2nds this week – a big thanks to those who made it down to training, especially those who aren’t playing on Saturday. The First XI are playing Notting Hill-Brandon Park at Greythorn Park, and the seconds are playing the East Ivanhoe Saints at Chelsworth Park (main oval).
A special congratulations goes to Marcus Hyde this week who, in a career at the club that began in 1994/95, becomes just the 9th Panther to play 250 games for the club. Marcus has hit a century, taken 5-fers and won premierships in the First XI for the club. Be sure to get down to Chelsworth if you can to celebrate his milestone.
