We are pleased to see that the concrete slab has been laid at Cherry Rd and that means things are on track to have the synthetic wicket ready to go by round one the 10th of October – which is fast approaching!

I am disappointed that whoever took this photo didn’t take the opportunity to make a ‘spot’ short of length whilst the concrete was still wet. How are we meant to hold a home team advantage with a perfectly level pitch?
Yes but short of a length for you Wolfy is the bowlers crease!
