Saints (Seniors)

The Balwyn Saints provide an inclusive environment for men of all abilities, age and backgrounds to play cricket.

SENIORS

This season we will be entering six senior teams into the Eastern Cricket Association competition. The new season starts on October 1st.

  • The First and Second XI will play in the 2-day turf competition and our home ground is Myrtle Park.
  • The Third and Fourth XI are in the Limited Over Competition (4o overs each) based at Balwyn Park.
  • There will be two sides playing in the Sunday Turf Competition based at Myrtle park.

We play Saturday afternoons from 12:30p.m. After match days, we all catch up at Myrtle Park to celebrate the successes from the day.

Training is Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 6p.m. at Balwyn Park. After training on Thursday, we come together for selections and any playing discussions with our goals for the upcoming match.

VETS

In addition, we will be entering a Vets (40+ year olds) team into the Eastern Cricket Association competition. They play 7 games over the season, every second Sunday from 1p.m. and our home is Balwyn Park. Season subs are just $175 however, this is for those intending on playing veterans cricket only.
