The club is proud to announce we have secured Charles Jordan Amini to join the club in the upcoming season. Charles previously played juniors with us, and is currently in training for the upcoming international T20 World Cup for PNG, with his first game vs West Indies on 3 June – and once the tournament is over, he’ll be heading back our way!
At 32 years old, with 49 ODIs to his name, that’s already a great fit! More so, he’s from a respected and well-remembered family as his father, mother and brother all played for St Barnabas in the early 2000s.
Charles has scored over 2,000 international runs, and taken almost 100 international wickets. He’s currently VC of the PNG Barramundis and is renowned for his fielding – just take a look at a couple of highlights…

Charles has also agreed to be a full-time couch for one of the Balwyn Blasters teams – to which he’ll bring his 10 years of international training & experience to our next generation of cricketers.
